1) If you are experiencing itchiness keep in my mind it is due to new skin being exposed to environmental elements.

2) After 24 hours post treatment wash face with cold water and apply hyaluronic serum or light weight moisturiser.

3) A minimum of SPF 30 to be applied everyday (especially the first 7 days after treatment)

4) Avoid sun exposure as much as possible for a minimum of 7 days post treatment. If you must be in the sun, apply SPF 30 or greater, reapply often, wear a wide brimmed hat, and seek shade when possible. You must be careful of sun exposure.

5) Avoid excessive heat 3 days post treatment, i.e. heavy workouts, steam rooms or saunas, etc.

6) Avoid chlorine for 24 hours.

7) Avoid facial waxing for 7 days.

8) Avoid Dermal Fillers or Botox for 2 to 4 weeks based on area.

9) Do not pick, scratch, or aggressively rub the treated area.

10) No scrubs, polishers, or aggressive brushes should be used for 7 to 14 days.

11) DO apply serums as absorption levels will be elevated. Hyaluronic Acid or Tropic  Supergreens is recommended for the first 7 days and your serum of choice after 7 days.

12) Do NOT use any products that contains aggressive active ingredients like Retinol,  Alpha Hydroxyl Acids or harsh acids until 7-14 days AFTER your treatment.

13) You might experience slight peeling for the first few days. Slight windburn sensation and/or blotchiness are normal for the first few days. Skin care products may tingle or slightly burn for the first 2 days.

14) Avoid wearing make-up for a minimum of 12 hours, 24 hours if possible

15) Ensure phones are clean and avoid having long contact with the face

16) Please change your pillowcase the night of your treatment and then weekly after that to avoid breakouts

17) Clean your sunglasses / prescription glasses regularly as these harbour bacteria.

1) It is imperative that you let your skin “breathe” and recover for 24 hours after the procedure. The skin channels are open, and using a makeup brush can penetrate the pores, especially if they are very thin, causing further irritation. Using a makeup brush that has been used before can contaminate the skin and, consequently, lead to infections. Wait 24 to 48 hours before you apply face makeup to give your skin the necessary recovery time

2) Avoid alcohol-based toners for 10-14 days

3) Do not have another facial treatment for at least 2 weeks after your Micro-needling treatment.

4) Your skin may be more red/swollen than usual for 2-3 days post treatment. It is common and expected that your skin will also be itchy and/or irritated. Swelling and burning are normal immediately after the procedure which normally subsides up to 24 hours post procedure.

5) Lack of visible improvement is not an indication that the Micro-needling treatment was unsuccessful. If you do not notice visible improvement, please note that you are still receiving all the benefits of the Micro-needling treatment, such as stimulation of collagen production, improvement of skin tone and texture, diminishment of fine lines and wrinkles and increased nutrient uptake of the skin post procedure.

DAY 1-2

  • After application, the peel solution should remain on the treated area for at least 6-8 hours

  • During the first 6 hours, do not wash, touch, rub, or apply make-up to the treated area.

  • On evenings 1 and 2, gently wash the treated areA with water only and pat dry

  • On evenings 1 and 2, roughly 15 minutes before bedtime, vigorously apply a post-peel towelette (one on each evening) to the treated area. Let dry thoroughly. Please be aware the towelettes are a very important part of the peeling process, they can mildly sting and irritate on application, this is normal. Some irritation and discomfort is considered normal. If extreme, please consult with your medical professional that performed the procedure.

  • Suggested ways of alleviating any stinging, discomfort or itchiness: apply a cold compress against the irritated area; take ordinary pain relief tablets; take antihistamine tablets to help with itching.
